Notice of Annual General Meeting – Pouakani Trust

We are writing to formally notify shareholders that the Pouakani Trust Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held as follows:

Date: Friday 20 March

Venue: Mokai Marae

Programme:

11:00am – Kapu tī & arrivals

11:30am (Sharp) – AGM tīmata

12:30pm – Lunch (AGM paused for lunch)

1:30pm – Wrap up AGM (if required)

The AGM is an important opportunity to hear directly from the Trustees and management, review the Trust’s performance over the past year, and look ahead to upcoming priorities and opportunities for our whenua and shareholders.

Shareholder registration update:

Operationally, we are still working through our shareholder membership database and aim to have as many registration applications processed as possible by the 20 March AGM.

If you have submitted a registration application, this will likely apply to you. Please keep an eye on your emails, as we may require — or may have already requested — additional information before we are able to progress your application further.

If you are already a registered shareholder, please disregard this section.

Matters to be covered at the AGM will include:

– Opening karakia

– Trustee elections (three (3) trustee seats)

– Report from the Chair

– Trustee and management reports

– Presentation of the Trust’s financial statements

– Huiarau Farms

– Ranginui Station

– Waipohotu Forest

– Taiao / environmental kaupapa

– General business and shareholder questions

– Closing karakia

Trustee elections, nominations, and voting:

Nominations for the three (3) trustee vacancies are now open and will close at 5:00pm on Friday 6 March.

Voting for the trustee elections will take place onsite at the AGM only. There will be no online or postal voting options.
